Older Adults and Individuals with Disabilities

Texas Oral Health Coalition

The TxOHC Regional Oral Health Coalitions have developed Community Resource Guides for individuals with disabilities for five geographic areas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Tyler, and Coastal Bend to date. These guides incorporate social determinants of health to help address adverse experiences across the lifespan. The Disability Community Resource Guides and Senior Resource Guides target those populations and may be used as resource materials to find local services for dental care, food pantries, transportation, housing, and more.

Older Adults

Smiles for Life is designed to enhance the role of primary care clinicians in the promotion of oral health for all age groups through the development and dissemination of high-quality educational resources.
