Dr. Andrea R. Holzner, CCP, MPhil, PhD

Through a unique combination of personal experience as a daughter of an Alzheimer’s patient, academic research, and professional expertise, Andrea provides guidance on ethical, comprehensive methodologies for the aging ecosystem inclusive of medical and dental practicum. She assists families, healthcare providers, government agencies, and NGO’s.

By applying the knowledge she has accumulated, she assists those who want to understand the challenges faced by an aging population. Andrea translates the needs of the aging population into actionable programs which can be enacted by government agencies or NGO’s. By working with health care providers, conducting research, she helps them understand what they need to know to serve their aging ecosystem with an ethical and comprehensive approach.

Because she has pursued her gerontology doctorate degree at an academically rigorous institution, she brings to her work a higher level of academic research and professional competencies which are not offered by the majority of those active in this field.  She is among the select cadre of less than 2% of the worlds’ population by achieving a PhD.

Via the troika of my degrees (Gerontology PhD, Post-Bac in Neuro-research, Master’s in Psychology), she addresses the full diapason of psychological, social, environmental, and medical challenges facing those in the aging ecosystem.
