Course Description
Be a part of the conversation to explore why bridging the gap between dental and medical providers is crucial for improving ALL areas of health – including mental health — for mom and baby before, during and after pregnancy. The mental health of the mother is a key indication of the baby’s future health.
The Texas Department of State Health Services – Oral Health Improvement Program (OHIP) and the Children’s Oral Health Coalition have partnered to host a series of “Ask the Docs”. The series is for dentists, ob-gyns, other prenatal medical providers, dental hygienists, nurses, and social workers interested in improving access to care for pregnant teens and women.
